The Greens – A Hidden Cafe in Berlin

In a city that has cafes on every corner, it’s not always easy to get off the beaten path and find something that feels a little less discovered. However, there’s one Berlin cafe that always feels like a secret that you don’t want to tell: The Greens.

The Greens is a hidden gem in the middle of Berlin. I stumbled across this cafe after signing up for a yoga class that happened to be in the same building.

The compound itself is unique in and of itself, called “Alte Münze” which is where they minted the Berlin Coins in the 1930s. Today it’s a multi-disciplinary creative space venue that has art galleries, studio spaces, and the hidden cafe.

The cafe is located on the ground floor of the building and is filled with plants (“The Greens”).

They offer many vegan goodies, from scones to sandwiches. It’s a great place to grab a Sunday brunch in Berlin or just sit with a book and escape from the madness of the city.
